MONTHLY READING CHALLENGE – JUNE 2016 WRAP UP & JULY’S READING CHALLENGE

Hey,

sadly I didn’t complete June’s reading challenge, which was to read a book with a pink cover. I did start a book to complete this challenge, this book is The Ring and The Crown by Melissa de la Cruz.

July’s reading challenge is to read a graphic novel which is a great thing because just like in January, I am participating in the Biannual Bibliothon and I will be reading Nimona by Noelle Stevenson to complete one of the reading challenges. If you’d like to see my TBR for this read-a-thon, here’s a link to it.

So that’s the two reading challenges I want to complete this month.

Thank you so much for reading.

  1. Offhand I can’t even think of a book with a pink cover! Unless it’s a middle grade strongly marketed to girls about princesses or something. I get the impression publishing stays away from pink so they don’t “alienate” male readers. 😦

    1. you’re probably right, which is sad really because why couldn’t boys want to read a book with a pink cover just like how girls can read books with guns and swords on the cover. Rebel Bell had a pink cover as well as Anna and The French Kiss, some of the Pretty Little Liars books, The Ruby Circle and This Shattered World (I did some googling) a lot of the books (almost all of them) are contemporary novels too.
