BURN REWRITE REREAD TAG PART TWO

Hey,

I was tagged by Jess from jblekbooks (her answers to this tag) to do the Burn, Rewrite, Reread Tag Part Two. When I found out that I was tagged I got really excited because I have actually made friends… I think. Jess please don’t think I’m forcing you to be my friend I’m not trying to.

Now lets get into the tag:

Rules:

  • Randomly choose 3 books (Tip: Use the “Sort > Random” option on your Goodreads’ Read shelf.).
  • For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (a lot like Kiss, Marry, Kill).
  • Repeat until you completed three rounds (or six).

ROUND ONE

Burn: Allegiant by Veronica Roth, personally this book wasn’t as interesting as the first two and it brought up to many questions for it to be the final book in a trilogy.

Rewrite: Dead Ringer by Jessie Rosen, I absolutely loved this book so it wouldn’t know what to change accept I’d make it longer because I didn’t want this book to end!

Reread: Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell, this book makes me so happy and it’s absolutely perfect the way it is

ROUND TWO

Burn: Looking For Alaska by John Green, this was the second John Green book I’ve ever read (note the first John Green book I read was TFIOS) and I wasn’t expecting this book to be this sexual at all. I would not recommend this book to anyone really or to anyone who is younger.

Rewrite: The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, this book had been so hyped up and I went into it thinking I was going to love it, sadly I was wrong. Personally nothing about this book was extremely captivating, I did find the concept of this book quite interesting but for some reason couldn’t attach myself to anything or anyone in this novel.

Reread: Frostbite by Richelle Mead, the Vampire Academy series has got to be one of my favourite series of all time, I literally flew through this series while experiencing a lot of emotions. This series is filled with so many funny and amazing characters. I would 100% reread this series in a heartbeat.

ROUND THREE

Burn: The Host by Stephenie Meyer, I actually kinda enjoyed this book but it was a very long book and at the time I wasn’t very motivated to read it.

Rewrite: The Retribution of Mara Deyer by Michelle Hodkin, I love the Mara Deyer series and sadly I was disappointed in the ending of this novel. Personally I felt like it was rushed and could’ve been a better book as a whole if it wasn’t rushed.

Reread: Legend by Marie Lu, I really enjoyed this novel. It was a nice book, I need to reread it because I started Prodigy but I read Legend a while ago and I’m forgetting things that happened in this book.

So that’s the Burn, Rewrite, Reread Tag Part Two.

I tag:

Dilara from deceivedbydreams

Wesaun from Oreos and Books

Michelle from Book Adventures

and you, if you want to.

Leave a comment below if you have done this tag, make sure you leave a link so I can go and check it out.

Thank you so much for reading.

  1. Hahah, don’t worry Yasmin, we are definitely friends by now xD However, Looking for Alaska is probably my all time favorite book at the moment, so I was a little sad when I saw that you would burn it. But that’s okay, we all have our opinions & I respect that 🙂

    1. Yes! I was so worried that would’ve been awkward if you didn’t think we are friends 😆 aww I’m so sorry, to be honest Looking For Alaska is my favourite John Green novel and all the books that were randomly chosen were all books I enjoyed.

      1. Lol, well no worries! 🙂 Oh, that’s just fine — I am aware of the people that dislike John Green as an author, but I’m happy to hear that you did enjoy LFA. Our friendship is still sealed xD

        1. that’s good. I’ve never had a problem with John Green but I just don’t enjoy all of his books. I’m trying to defend myself even though you haven’t even accused me of anything. it’s just some of the content in his novels I’m not totally comfortable reading.

          1. Haha no problem, Yasmin — I respect your opinion and I understand that you can’t enjoy EVERY book by an author! I have to be comfortable reading an author’s content as well, so I realize why you’d dislike his novels… 🙂
