Sadly this month didn’t go as planned. I had the last two weeks of April off school so I should’ve had a lot of time to read, sadly my teachers like to give me a lot of homework so I didn’t end up reading as much as I would’ve liked to. I read less than half a book this month which is really disappointing.

Lets get into the wrap up.

The Rose Society23846013

Author: Marie Lu

Genre: Fantasy

Number of Pages: 395

Release Date: October 13th 2015

“Once upon a time, a girl had a father, a prince, a society of friends. Then they betrayed her, and she destroyed them all.

Adelina Amouteru’s heart has suffered at the hands of both family and friends, turning her down the bitter path of revenge. Now known and feared as the White Wolf, she flees Kenettra with her sister to find other Young Elites in the hopes of building her own army of allies. Her goal: to strike down the Inquisition Axis, the white-cloaked soldiers who nearly killed her.

But Adelina is no heroine. Her powers, fed only by fear and hate, have started to grow beyond her control. She does not trust her newfound Elite friends. Teren Santoro, leader of the Inquisition, wants her dead. And her former friends, Raffaele and the Dagger Society, want to stop her thirst for vengeance. Adelina struggles to cling to the good within her. But how can someone be good when her very existence depends on darkness?”

I am only 40 percent through this book and I am already loving it. I really enjoyed the first book so I wasn’t surprised that I’m enjoying this one just as much.

So far I give it a 4.5/5 stars

So that was my April wrap up.

Leave a comment telling me what you read this month or if you have read this book.

Thank you so much for reading.
