Sadly I did not complete my reading challenge for January, however I did start reading the book to complete the challenge.
January’s reading challenge was to read a book that’s been sitting on your shelf for a while. The book I intended to complete was the Iron Trials by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare. This book has been sitting of my shelf for over a year and I sadly hadn’t got round to reading it.
I have started this book and I can say that I don’t hate it but I don’t love this book. I do plan to continue this book but I will be listening to it through an audio book which I have requested from my local library.
Hopefully I will also be able to complete February’s reading challenge which is to read a book from a genre you usually ignore. To complete this challenge I plan on reading Minor by Meghan McDonnell. Meghan emailed me around the middle of January asking if I would like to read her book, so thank you so much for doing that I can’t express how much that means to me. Minor is a memoir and I’ve only read three maybe four memoirs in my life.
So that’s how January’s reading challenge went and what I hope to read to complete February’s reading challenge.
Thank you so much for reading.
